Lot description:


LYDIA, Tralles. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ (36.5mm, 33.10 g, 6h). Laureate head right / Zeus Larasios seated left, holding Nike on his extended right hand, and scepter with his left; before him, Artemis Ephesia standing facing between two stags. RPC III 2086; BMC 136. Dark green patina with touches of red, old scratches on the reverse. Good Fine. Very rare, only eight specimens cited by the authors of RPC.
